HOLA!

I’M GIZANE VIVE

Over the past 15 years, I have built my own eccentric career for myself. I have worked at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, led teams in the Dominican Republic, designed and coordinated educational programmes in Panama's jungle, facilitated workshops in Scotland and the Canary Islands, managed an office, and co-founded Precious Plastic and a coworking space projects. In Berlin, I worked in tech as a UX designer for a start-up and collaborated as a community manager in several co-working spaces. I have over 10 years' experience working as a freelance designer with clients and also gained experience supporting companies as a ‘more than a’ virtual assistant.

I can fit into many roles, but it is difficult to put me into one specific one. I am a multipotentialite with degrees in design and sustainable human development and certifications in frameworks such as Scrum Master and User Experience Design. At my core, I am a creative with a ‘human first’ approach. I am an expert in processes and systems, and above all, I am an expert in team experience.

In each of the eight countries I have lived in and in each of the fifteenth cross-functional teams I have worked with, I have noticed that the best skilled and competent teams don't leave jobs; they leave bad management and bad working environments. My biggest goal is to provide teams with the right structure and design a culture that is aligned with the company values, in which they feel represented, seen, valuable and creative. This benefits both the company and the worker and is key to sustainable growth.
